Ho ho ho MAN! I'm taking a swift break from flood control here, and ho ho hoping that I don't get the shock of my life while I'm working on this message. Fortunately, Bamboo Buckaroo brought me a wet-vac a few birthdays ago, so I seem to be holding back the rising tide. If you have one more gift to buy, I highly recommend a wet-vac. Maybe won't get used all the time, but when you need it, brother does it come in handy.

The deadline for both the 100-word Great BR Short-Short Story Contest and the 100-line story/poem submissions for the 100th issue of BR are coming up.

The deadline for short-short stories, online, is Friday, December 31st, 2:00 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time. Here are the winners for November:
