4th and 3rd Grade Poets from Maʻemaʻe Elementary School

Mahalo Ms. Diane Koushki, Ms. Jan Zane-Chin, Mr. Peter Li, and the talented 4th and 3rd grade students at Maʻemaʻe Elementary School!

It was a pleasure to share renshi poems (tag poems) with everyone. An envelope containing poetry lines from No Choice but to Follow was passed around the class. Students created titles for poems using the lines they selected. Student poems were awesome, and we wish to share poems on this website. Looking forward to future visits! It was fun!

I'm so glad that everyone enjoyed writing poems! I love meeting all of you, and I look forward to future visits! I also look forward to reading your poems online! KEEP WRITING! Best wishes to all you POETS! 🙂

Nice to hear from all of you! Here's a great idea: Let's start a class renshi! You can use the last line of your classmate's poem for the title of your poem. After you finish writing a poem, give your last line to another classmate. Continue this process until the whole class participates. Awesome!
