Second Anniversary: BAMBOO RIDGE Online Writing Contest

I can’t believe it. The BR writing contest is two years old. To celebrate the terrible twos, we are going back to the 100 word entries : ) July will fly, so get those 100-word entries in!

To celebrate two years, we are also changing the type of triggers. Here are six titles from BR Issues #31/32 (THE BEST OF BR double issue) and 33:

From Issue Number 31/32:

“Crack Seed” by Kathy Phillips
“Pa-ke” by Herbert Chun
“Untitled” by Caroline Garrett

From Issue Number 33:

“Listening” by Kathleen Andrasick
“Miles Away” by Rodney Morales
“The Silence” by Mavis Hara

Use one of these titles to trigger your 100-word piece.

5. Winners will be announced with all possible BR speed after 2:00 p.m. HST, July 31st, and they'll win Bamboo Bucks credit to spend in the BRP online bookstore. WHOOHOO!!!
