Memories

Abounding with memories, the farmyard embodies an inheritance of hard work and sacrifice. A clapboard bunkhouse stores equipment instead of exhausted farm workers. Windows covered by checked curtains fashions a whitewashed brooder house into a child’s dream home. Topped by a weathered cupola, the mammoth barn screams of adventure and anecdotes. Leather harnesses and horse shoes hang from the rafters of an abandoned milk barn. A young Irish family endured war, drought and uncertainty to become stronger. They realized all they had was today which has become our tomorrow.

Wow! I agree. I love the last line. You do a nice job of painting a vivid picture with very details specific to this particular setting!
