Daddy

“Jus’ chtro me in da rubbish can, already!” Dad sat on the bed with his face buried in his hands. The clock blared 2:30 a.m.
“I tink maybe we should!” Mom yelled, lying on the bed, her back turned to him. “I no unuhstan’ you.”
“Dats da problem.” Dad stood, looking at his wife of almost 40 years. “You nevah did unuhstan’ me,” he said under his breath. “I goin’ fo’ da gun.”
“No make me laugh!” Mom said. “Beeg baybay.”
Dad shook his head and started for the door.
“Daddy, where you? Eh, no fool aroun’ –
Bam.
