Is your mom the kine that says, "We go make room for the turkey, kay," and so she cooks everything in the fridge like one week before:
Ten pounds of chicken thighs (made shoyu style, katsu style, adobo style, Italian seasoning style, and cabbage style), the five pound chuck roast (cubed for curry and stew), the French bread frozen pizzas, the mochi ice cream, the pork hash, wonton, tofu, kimchee, ahi poke, edamame…
And you gotta eat em all cuz no can have leftovers taking space?
