genes
Use it to inspire a piece of writing, and then post that piece as a contest entry : ) Don’t forget that you can enter as often as you wish. We would all love to read what you write : )
Here’s my draft for today.
Afoot (100 words)
Leimomi Sanchez came on stage. Chan said, “If you talk while she’s singing, she’ll read you the riot act.”
Wow, I thought, I’m going to try to include her in Chinatown-related David Chan stories.
As we left, I said, “The Blue Light. It’s the perfect place for police to unwind.”
David said, “Nah, cops want to forget about it, Lanning, it’s Chinatown. They spend too much time down here working.”
“Really? So why do you and Five-O come?”
“I grew up with Rick,” Chan said. “From day-one, like with you and Jerry, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
