Pushing Your Boundaries

I crawled through the streets of New York City, strolled across the Thames, fell victim to heatstroke in Versailles, and explored wartime ruins. You may find it hard to leave the comfort zone of home and family, but one cannot strengthen themselves or become wise without exploring their boundaries and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones. Traveling to new places makes you smarter and gives you a far greater sense of the world than any book, movie, TV show, or video could ever portray. You learn a lot about people, what they are like, how they talk, what they eat, what they do, how they behave. Often you find people quite similar to yourself, no matter how great the distance.
