So you think you can read your own poem?

Renshi poets Jean Yamasaki Toyama, Juliet Kono, Ann Inoshita, and Christy Passion read their renshi, linked poems, at Hawaii Public Radio during two sessions last year. The book/CD combo will be released in late April and is an “inside” look at how poetry can get written and in this case, recorded. If you think reading your own poem is easy, check out the video clip on the homepage (scroll down to videos). Or tell your friends to search YouTube for “renshi poets.” Good fun!
