Okay, listen very carefully because I will now speak in Pig Latin. Er, I mean READ very carefully because I will now WRITE in Pig Latin.
As-way always-way, ese-they ompts-pray are-way ere-hay or-fay ou-yay oo-tay ignore-way. In-way other-way words-way, feel-way free-way to-way ignore-way them-way and-way write-way about-way anything-way you-way want-way to-way write-way about-way.
As you can see, I got lazy with the second sentence. I tell you, I’ve been working too hard for the CIA — oh, wait, you didn’t see that. I’ve been working too hard doing, ah, something I can’t tell you about because if I did tell you, I’d have to chew on the capsule they gave me for oopsy-daisy situations like that, and, well, you know, it would be hasta next lifetime. So, let’s just get on with this month’s writing prompts, shall we?
You write anything you want, any length, and write in any language you wish. If you want to write in a language other than English, you need not provide an English translation. If you do include an English translation, however, you may reach a wider audience.
Without further ado, here are some prompts you can ignore if you want to write about something else:
From the perspective of all the different kinds of food and kitchen items
Opening the refrigerator
Everyone, hold your stomach in
Everything can fit inside
You are in for a treat
This is my favorite holiday
You are going to make it a hard choice
She’s running to the store to get them
There are not a lot of leftovers
I can’t wait until next year
Okay, everybody, let’s ring out the year with just a little bit more writing. See you in January, if I’m not on another special ops assignment in Russ — oops, I almost did it again. Gotta bite my tongue before I have to bite the capsule.
