Stumbling

When you were young
An' tumbled and fell
We'd pick you up
To make sure all was well.

And hold you close
To still your crying
Then send you off
With words to keep on trying.

Because you did
Despite your early woes
You walk and run now,
Indeed it's how one grows.

Today you're older
With stumbles not so tame
We can't pick you up
But our words are still the same.

"Remember that, we love you always,
So keep on trying."
