Thank you all for your wonderful reception of my book, Anshuu. I could not be more grateful.

It was a small whirlwind, but just enough excitement for an elderly person like me at Manoa Valley Theater, where we held a pre-launch party. Afterall, I now qualify for McDonald's coffee discount, for movie discounts, for 10% percent off at Ross's. This was major excitement, man! Seriously,I was deeply moved by everyone's good wishes, the leis, and cards.

With more guts than brains, I began with a Buddhist welcome chant that I had never done in public before. I even played the ukulele, singing "Hilo March!" Today, I can't believe myself.
