Okay, this month let’s do the usual. Write between 100 and 500 words. Remember, you can ignore all of these prompts if you want to do your own thing.
BUT
This month you have to work the word August or summer into your piece. That’s a must. Otherwise, feel free to ignore the following list of triggers:
Hot
Cold
Fans
Air Conditioners
Sweating
Yard work
Workouts
Exercise
Weight
Height
Walking
Running
Cooking
Eating
Calories
Temperature
Thermometer
Thermos
Water bottle
Plastic
Ocean
Coral
Sea life
Okay, so there’s the list. Remember, 100 to 500 words, and you must use the word August or summer in your piece.
Don’t forget. Any piece you post for the monthly contests might be selected for publication in a future issue of Bamboo Ridge.
Good writing to you all.
