Somewhere

Cody began counting. I better find a place to hide. I ran inside every room trying to find a place to hide, but no luck. Think quickly. Just find somewhere. “Ready or not, here I come,” Cody shouts. He runs in every room, sliding every closet door, looking everywhere to find me. He runs outside and calls out, “come out, come out wherever you are!” but I don’t respond. I freeze, hugging my knees to my chest, trying to fit in my hiding spot. His footsteps were getting closer, and closer. He popped in front of me, “I found you!”
