Ever wanted to indent the paragraphs of your blogs, your news entries, or your bamboo shoot entries? Me too : ) Now you can!
Thanks to BRP webmeister Haken Pax, you can now indent your paragraphs using the tag — with no space between the [ and the sp5] like I have here so you can see it. The tag gives you a five -space indentation.
Example NOT using the tag at the beginning of the line:
Now is the time for all blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Example using the tag at the beginning of the line:
Now is the time for all blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Pretty cool, huh? The tag, again with no space between the [ and the sp], gives you a single space.
And you can use the tag in combination with the tag to do any single space fine adjustments you may need for poems like this excerpt from "Inheritance," by Wanda Fujimoto in the third issue of BAMBOO RIDGE, June – August 1979, Full Moon:
Inheritance
my grandmother died
before I had a face
she reclaims me now with silence
and a brown photograph:
her kimono, hair, face
the instep of her turned-in foot
If you could see the tags, they would look like this:
Inheritance
my grandmother died
before I had a face
she reclaims me now with silence
and a brown photograph:
her kimono, hair, face
the instep of her turned-in foot
Aloha,
I appreciate you folks letting us know how to indent paragraphs, but how do you double-space the text?
Mahalo,
Don.
