LOVES GAME
Many evenings were made glorious over the years as my husband and I played Scrabble. We argued over meanings endlessly. Surprisingly, many of his “made-up” words were real.
Playing together taught us to love and trust each other’s strengths and weaknesses, which lasted through the fifty-two years of our marriage.
Couples today don’t spend enough time together playing simple games. Board games might teach them to love each other as real partners verses the sitting alone in front of the faceless computer doing complex digital games.
Love and happiness are the long term rewards for time spent together.
