My First Time at the Beach

As I sank gradually into the finely grained sand below, my eyes were captivated by the image of the deep blue ocean in front of me. I stared blankly at the vastness of the ocean, while my black hair, as soft and light as the sea foam beneath my feet, moved gently to the movements of the blowing wind. Small groups of waves broke onto the beach, like large white eyelashes. Tiny bubbles from the water moved up and down the wet sand as if to the rhythm of a great drum beyond the endless sea.
