An Opinion

Frankly
this opinion comes
at midnight to a dark blind man
with a hearing aid,
plunging off the edge of a cliff.
I would rather eat a rancid piece of meat.
You are a viper, slithering along
the bowels of the earth dragging
the feces of dead rats on your underbelly.
Your venom is cold and bitter
but I have been waiting and am ready
to slice you in half, chop off your head
and throw you out into the turbulent surf
and leave you there to
smash against the sharp live coral
piercing through your moral skin.
No idle pleasure here,
from my betrayed heart.
