Beware of Low-Flying Sleighs

Arthur Holloway donated to charities, paid his taxes on time, and had never raised his hand to either his wife or his two children. He did not, in his opinion, deserve the unpleasantly surreal turn his life had just taken.

Arthur gazed first at the rather large dent in the hood of his car, then at the motionless body of the reindeer, and finally at the livid fat man in red, who had exited his sleigh and was bearing down on him.

I think, Arthur mused glumly, that this is going to be a very, very long night.
