Feather rains fall like lyrics in his song

While dew perched upon the ylang ylang petals appear like a lover’s kiss

Quiet follows with the sun lowering its warmth onto Ka’ala

And the earth blends to heaven

Awakened,

Her lips part towards the sky in thirst

The ocean’s sighs braid the twilight into stars and moonlight

Each one like fresh water on her tongue

Each one like the Kaiaulu breeze soaked with their own sweet fragrance

In darkness,

in dusk,

in delight and in dawn

he finds her again and again,

Her scent unrestrained until desire gathers the whole of his song
